I’ve spent a lot of time in my head. Overthinking, analyzing, waiting for the right moment, the right feeling, the right time to start something. I’ve told myself, I’ll do it when I feel motivated. I’ll start when I’m ready. I’ll change when it makes sense.

But guess what? That moment never comes.

Because you aren’t your thoughts—you are your actions.

It doesn’t matter if I think about working out, if I want to go for a run, if I plan to eat healthier, or if I consider making a change in my life. If I don’t act, it’s all meaningless.

Reading Unfuck Yourself made me realize this. This book didn’t just suggest change—it called me out. It forced me to see that all the overthinking, all the waiting, all the internal debates were just excuses. It played the role of the friend who doesn’t sugarcoat things, who looks you dead in the eye and says, Stop thinking about it and just move.

We get stuck in this idea that we have to feel ready before we move. That we need motivation to strike, that we have to be in the perfect head space to get things done. But that’s bullcrap.

The truth? Screw how you feel. Act.

Don’t wait for motivation. Don’t wait for the mood to strike. Don’t waste time convincing yourself you need to be inspired to start something. Just do it. Not in five minutes, not later today, not when things feel easier. Now.

If I let my thoughts dictate my actions, I’ll stay exactly where I am. If I let my emotions control what I do, I’ll never move. And if I keep waiting for some magical shift, I’ll be waiting forever.

Because action creates movement. Movement creates change. And the only way to get where I want to go is to stop thinking about it and just flocking go.

Don’t act on your thoughts. Act on what’s in front of you.

You’re tired? Move anyway.
You’re uninspired? Show up anyway.
You don’t feel like it? Do it anyway.

Because in the end, what matters isn’t what I think about doing—it’s what I actually do.
